The short version
We collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, your contributions license us to display them, and the scores are editorial opinion grounded in documented fact.
The service
The Receipt is an independent civic platform operated by Vavinix LTD, publishing editorial audits of Nigerian state governors against their own documented manifesto commitments, alongside anonymous citizen verdicts. It is not affiliated with any political party, candidate, or government office, and it is not a registered nonprofit.
Editorial opinion
Fulfillment scores, status labels, and editorial notes are the editorial team's opinion, formed by applying the published methodology to documented evidence. They are not statements of legal fact about any individual.
Contributions
By submitting a verdict, testimony, photo, or document, you grant The Receipt a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that contribution as part of the platform. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit.
No warranty
The platform is provided as is. We work to verify every receipt before it's attached to a score, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party source material, and scores may change as new evidence is filed.
Changes
Material changes to these terms are logged publicly, the same way changes to the safety policy and the score changelog are.
